BFF presents year-round community screenings, workshops, and professional development opportunities. Between six to eight screenings happen annually at The New Parkway Theater in Oakland, showcasing finished films BFF has funded. We will also host special exhibition programs, including a program of short films illuminating the impact of the justice system, and the Saul Zaentz Film Series, a weekend highlighting the legendary producer.

Co-presenting with Albany FilmFest
We are excited to partner with Albany FilmFest for a summertime documentary series at the Rialto in El Cerrito! Starting in June, please join us for a program of five independent documentary films by award-winning East Bay filmmakers, all previous BFF grantees. 

Stay after the films for a lively panel discussion and interactive audience Q&A with the filmmaker and guests. All films screen at Rialto Cinemas© Cerrito. We hope to see you there!
